Social Media Ad (Motion Graphics)

This ad was made for Nerds & Words, a professional copywriting agency based in Bucharest, Romania. The main purpose of the production was to promote NaW’s main services via a short video ad that would showcase both their unique communication style and brand identity. My role within this production was to provide NaW with a brand aligned audiovisual concept of the video via a storyboard and boardomatic, and then to create the actual motion graphics in line with the pre-established style, tone, and progression.

This ad was designed to highlight Temenos’ new NYC office and its subsequent opening festivities where multiple partners had been invited. Temenos is a world-class banking services provider with a portfolio of clients covering all regions of the world. This video was made during my employment within Temenos’ in-house design team. The video had been edited in a snappier manner to exude a degree of excitement characteristic of New York City’s vibrant facets of life.

This video was made as part of a recruitment test case for Eloomi, a software developer with the objective of providing accessible upskilling services to employees via an online educational platform. The video was designed to represent the various elements of Eloomi’s visual identity in a more dynamic manner.  I was responsible for everything, from conceptualization to animation. Eloomi’s brand guidelines had to be followed at all times.

An animated video designed for an internal Temenos event featuring Carl Robertson, Temenos’ CMO at the time. Temenos is a world-class banking services provider with a portfolio of clients covering all regions of the world. This video was made during my employment within Temenos’ in-house design team. I was responsible for everything you see in the video, from visual progression, sound design, asset origination, and ultimately, animation.

Explainer with Motion Graphics

A video I’ve made as part of an employment assignment for the Interaction Design Foundation, a world-class online UX Design school. The main objective of the video was to dynamically highlight the educational quintessence of one of the school’s older educational materials. The said material features Alan Dix’s Theories of Creativity course, and more specifically, his lesson on the intricacies of out-of-the-box thinking. Operationally, I was responsible for every single stylistic and semantic element of the video, from narrative consistency to graphical assets, motion graphics, and music selection. The only assets provided by IDF were the original footage of Alan Dix’s lesson, which I had also improved both visually and aurally, as well as a few design guidelines relevant to IDF’s brand identity at the time. Certain elements that had initially been perceived as defects of the original video footage (e.g. visual glitches) have been kept as stylistic elements and complemented via a scanline filter.

Temenos is a world-class banking services provider with a portfolio of clients covering all regions of the world. This video was made during my employment within Temenos’ in-house design team. When animating infographics, it is important to retain the visual progression that the original designer had conceptualized. Additionally, the video’s speed is bound to how much text the infographic contains. In this case, the animation had to be restrained to a slower, more linear flow in order to ensure that the material can be read and assimilated by the viewer. While the current speed may still prove too high for some viewers, a compromise had to be struck between quantity and brevity, which is always a pivotal requirement when it comes to social media distribution.

The aim of the video was to highlight the wilder side of their trips to exotic locations around the world, from snowy mountaintops ripe for snowboarding to sunny beaches where surfing the biggest wave is the norm.

This is the animated outro of Temenos SCALE 2021. Temenos is a world-class banking services provider with a portfolio of clients covering all regions of the world. This video was made during my employment within Temenos’ in-house design team. The composition was made in line with the event’s main visual identity by following the esthetics characteristic of modern retro-futurism. The chosen soundtrack is part of the genre known as  “synthwave”, which is defined by the modern reproduction/representation of 80’s era electronic music. The animation attempts to create a visual flow out of the event’s main poster, which also acted as the central piece for the event’s identity and Temenos’ former brand identity as a whole.
